Safety Not Guaranteed

I always get really excited when my friends do great things, whether they are acquaintances that I spent a single day with once or a person that I spend time with in my day to day life. It’s so cool to see people I recognize out in the world, making it, doing their thing. 

Lots of things have been happening for people that fall in to the above category - two friends from school are on the Hunger Games soundtrack (now #1 on iTunes, nbd), some others had songs on Pretty Little Liars, another is one of the Pretty Little Liars, and the list goes on! It’s inspiring to go to school with these guys and gals. I see their talent on a regular basis, but it thrills me that they will get to share their talent on a much greater scale. It’s really inspiring. 

Which brings me to this film, Safety Not Guaranteed— starring Aubrey Plaza, Jake Johnson, and Karan Soni —- Karan and I were in several plays together here at USC, and we were housemates a few years ago. He is off doing big things as an actor - this film got amazing reviews at Sundance. You’re gonna want to see it. Aubrey Plaza + time travel = do they really need to sell us on anything else? Nope. Already sold.
